On Wednesday March 9, Arab Media Watch chairman Sharif Hikmat Nashashibi will speak at an event entitled "Ghetto: Palestine Imprisoned" to launch the Hackney branch of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign.

And on Tuesday March 15, AMW and the SOAS Said-Fanon Society are holding an event entitled "Bad News from Babylon - 2 Years of Occupation & Insurgency in Iraq". Speakers are Independent correspondent Patrick Cockburn, George Galloway MP, and AMW advisor and Guardian commentator Sami Ramadani. Tim Llewellyn, AMW patron and former BBC Middle East correspondent, will chair.
