Arab Media Watch launches events series for 2005

Arab Media Watch launches events series for 2005

Following a string of successful events last year, Arab Media Watch is pleased to announce the launch of our events series for 2005, starting with two on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the coming fortnight.

On Sunday January 23, we are proud to have Israeli-Palestinian Knesset member Dr. Azmi Bishara talk at the School of Oriental and African Studies about "The Wall's Implications for Palestinian Life", with AMW director Victor Kattan and Professor Iain Scobbie. We strongly recommend reserving seats as our previous events with Dr. Bishara have been full to capacity.

On Tuesday February 1, Norton Mezvinsky comes from the US to the London School of Economics to speak alongside John Rose on "Zionism - Past, Present & Future". Their recent books - "Jewish Fundamentalism in Israel" and "The Myths of Zionism" respectively - will be on sale at a 20% discount, courtesy of Pluto Books.
