During the last week, Arab Media Watch director Judith Brown gave a talk at Exeter University on the BBC and the Middle East conflict, and member Chris Doyle was part of a panel at the House of Commons discussing Israel's illegal wall in the West Bank.

We have a busy forthcoming week. On Thursday December 2, there is a vigil outside the BBC regarding coverage of Iraq which we have officially endorsed and urge all our members and the public to attend. Other endorsements have come from such distinguished media figures as John Pilger, William Blum, Norman Solomon and David Miller.

On Sunday December 5, AMW advisor Karma Nabulsi shares a high-profile panel with Tom Paulin, Jermey Corbyn MP, Nur Masalha, Ilan Pappe and others at an international conference entitled "Resisting Israeli Apartheid - Strategies & Principles".

On the same day, AMW advisor Sami Ramadani joins Haifa Zangana, Tim Gospill, David Miller and others at a teach-in entitled "Occupation & Resistance in Iraq".
